In some industries, synonymous with client. In others, refers to end users of the client’s products or services or to members of its organization.
For example, when providing base support services for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), the Department of National Defence would be the client, with individual CAF members considered as customers. As always, it’s helpful to use the terminology consistently within an RFP response or proposal.
